REFURBISHING THE NEW IPHONE X![]() With news of the latest iPhone X (Apples 10th Anniversary iPhone) coming out we all know by now it's going to use Samsung's OLED technology instead of the older backlight technology that was used in all the older iPhones. What does that mean for those of us who refurbish cracked OEM screens in-house? Well, it's not going to be as bad as you might think. Yes, the replacement screens are going to cost an arm and a leg, firstborn child, you get the point. To refurbish the new iPhone x screen it's going to be just like the Samsung phones. The only new machine you will need is a freeze machine <<< (the machine we have) other than that you can use all the same LCD refurbishing equipment you already use to refurbish the older iPhone screens. You have to see the freeze machines costly price tag as an investment in your business and future proofing your repair business at least until the manufacturers come out with a bendable LCD that can't be broken when dropped or cracked on impact.
